ConsumeIT Web Design UK Number 1 In Google! - 24/11/2009
Yes that's right, pretty much every day I use our web analytics software to check on the sites SEO progress (how our web traffic is doing, how many vistitors we have had, any new keywords we have come up in searches for. All of the information I need to guage how well certain Search Engine Optimisation techniques work) and I discovered we are getting a lot of visits from Google for the term 'IT Design', ConsumeIT Web Design is number 1!
Although this term isn't one of the main search engine keywords I was focusing on for the redesign of the site, it was one of the minor terms and to achieve a number 1 ranking in such a short amount of time just goes to show how important it is to research keywords in order to maximise your websites visibility.
