If you have any problems using our site or making a payment then please contact us using any of the details shown on the contact page. The telephone number is only for sales & payment enquiries; all technical support requests must be made by fax or e-mail, as we require a paper trail of all requests. Out of office hours please use e-mail to contact us as fax and phone requests will only be answered between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Hosting
All hosting will be set-up next working day after payment is received, we will usually e-mail you to confirm details, ask if additional items are required such as databases or extra e-mail addresses and to give you the option to choose a memorable password. Under the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you have the right to cancel your hosting package inside 7 days (if purchased by an individual and not a business user) by notifying us by e-mail, fax or letter using the details shown on the contact page. All hosting prices are for a period of 12 months, unless otherwise specified, and must be paid annually in advance. You will be sent an invoice for the following year 14 days before payment is due, please note late payment may result in the suspension of your hosting account.
Once your account is set-up you will be sent a confirmation e-mail, please print this out and keep safe as it will include your account details, information about what is included, details of which server your hosting package is on and dedicated website and e-mail details for client support.
Domain Names
When using the domain name checker DO NOT include the 'www', just the actual name you would like and then use the radial buttons to select the required ending.
Requests for domain will be made as soon as payment is received but can take up to 72 hours to be confirmed. Certain domains are only available if specific criteria are fulfilled and where we cannot complete a request for a domain you will be refunded within 7 days.
Orders for domain names cannot be cancelled once placed as the domain name is classified as personalised.
With many domains you will be required to register for a minimum period and if you wish to use the domain beyond that period your renewal fee must be paid at least 14 days before the expiry of the domain, invoice will be sent out 28 days before expiry.
Support
If you are experiencing problems accessing your website or e-mails please check that the problem is specific to your account with ourselves and not a general problem with your ISP or a local computer before sending a fault report. If you are experiencing problems with a new hosting package be aware that Nameservers can take up to 72 hours to refresh with an ISP. If none of the above solve the problem then please contact us.
All technical support mails must include the following details as a bare minimum.
- Username
- Domain name(s) affected
- FULL description of any problem you are experiencing, including error messages.
General Terms
No refunds will be issued for hosting cancelled except under the DSR whether cancelled by the client or terminated by ourselves for breach of conditions of use (full details available on request)
Our servers are run in accordance with current UK legislation and in consultation with various recognised organisations and bodies.
We will terminate the accounts of any persons engaging in or encouraging criminal or otherwise illegal activities, anyone advertising warez or goods of a dubious nature, anyone sending SPAM (unsolicited e-mails) from our servers and any persons hosting pornographic materials without prior consent, (if your business genuinely deals in adult material we do have bespoke solutions available so please contact us).
Constantly exceeding your limits of space or bandwidth may reduce in your services being reduced or your account suspended but we will always contact you first to offer an upgraded solution before taking action.
We do not support scripts, code or control panel management but if you have problems with any of these we will be happy to advise you of the best places to seek a solution.
